Legal & compliance
This page summarizes the legal documents that govern Skynet. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are the source of truth; this page is a map, not a replacement.
Terms of Service
Covers: acceptance of the terms, accounts, acceptable use, subscriptions and billing, customer content, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, termination, and governing law.
- Billing: Free, Pro, and Teams are billed per the pricing page and metered with credits; Enterprise is billed at a fixed, custom price. Fees are non-refundable, except unused Pro-plan credits within 7 days.
- Customer content: you retain ownership of what you submit; Skynet’s license is limited to hosting, processing, and transmitting it to provide and improve the Service.
- Liability: capped at what you paid in the preceding 12 months.
- Governing law: the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
Privacy Policy
Covers: what’s collected, how it’s used, cookies and analytics, how it’s shared, data retention, your rights, international transfers, and children’s privacy. See Data uses and Data retention for the docs-side summaries of these sections.
- Rights frameworks: India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
- International transfers: Skynet is based in India and may process data elsewhere, using safeguards like standard contractual clauses where required.
- Children’s privacy: the Service isn’t directed to individuals under 18.
